Our Name - Maranatha is a biblical (Aramaic) phrase occurring only once in the New Testament. It is found at the end of Paul’s First Epistle to the Corinthians (1 Cor. 16:22) as a farewell. In the New International Version (NIV) of the Christian Bible it is translated as “Our Lord is coming”.... The Maranatha Agency operates with Christian principles and seeks to bring fairness and integrity to each transaction for the benefit of all involved.

Our Mission – Insurance is a contract in which one party agrees to compensate another party for the future loss of life, health or property in return for payment of a premium. Assurance is a state of confidence or freedom from the doubt that one may experience when they suffer harm or loss by a future event. At Maranatha, we believe that “providing sound insurance today brings comfort and assurance for tomorrow”.

Our Purpose - The agency is owned and managed by Nelson Tate, an insurance professional with over 20 years of successful sales and marketing experience. He is dedicated to finding the best possible solutions to meet client goals at a competitive premium.  In an effort to address the concerns of every client, Maranatha has partnered with companies that are financially sound and share our dedication to quality service and fairness in their business practices.
